I built this round side table for a client up in CO. It was the first piece of furniture that I've built out of Peruvian walnut and I have to say that I really liked the way it worked. Nice stuff. I wrote an article in my Furniture Blog about the steps involved in building it if you are interested in checking it out.

Looks nice. I'm not familiar with Brazilian Walnut. How about a shot of the top to show off the grain.

Just FYI, Brazilian walnut, is not the same as Peruvian walnut so I'm not clear why you switched from the OPs post about Peruvian walnut to a question about Brazilian walnut. And by the way, I am talking about the one species of walnut that is called Brazilian walnut (there are several non-Juglans species that are also called Brazilian walnut)
