A lot of people call it shrink wrap, but yes it's stretch wrap, pretty much the same as Saran Wrap but meant to secure things together by wrapping layers around it. You can control the tension of what you wrap by how tight you pull it and how many layers you wrap it with.

shrink wrap isn't enough to make good joints. Now this may work for most who don't have better methods but you really need some kind of clamping method.

I've been in retail store management for over 20 years. We've always called it shrink wrap. But looking in the uline catalog they call it stretch wrap. I stand corrected :)
