I have a 1953 King Seeley/Craftsman 8" table saw that's in primo condition and works like a million bucks. However, with it being 1/2" arbor, it's a little tough to find decent blades, and as I'm starting to get into making some fancy boxes, I'd like to have a blade that will give me some really smooth clean cuts without wasting a bunch of expensive, exotic wood. I've used (5/8) skil saw blades with 5/8" copper pipe to reduce the arbor size and that seems to work OK - also HB makes some adapters which I also have. Any suggestions? Does anyone still make blades with 1/2 holes?

Harbor Freight sells adapters for blades. I would search their site.
