Just a quick question for the guy n' gal pen turners. Gonna turn a few slimlines, and I think I'd like to try painting the tubes white this time around to make the colors pop a lil more. :) Do any of you have a preference for paint? And does it stay nice and even or does the CA make it smear as you turn the tube into the blank to set up? Thoughts? Suggestions? :D

Thanks in advance..;)

It works better if you paint the blank, rather than the tube. If you paint the tube, you can still get some swirls and such from the glue showing through the blank. If you paint the blank, the glue you use to glue the tube in is hidden under the paint. Try an acrylic paint like what you'd use for painting small plastic models. You can get it at any hobby store.
