After reading all the fence upgrade threads here I think the small Vega is appropriate for my needs. But one of the reviews on Amazon said it won't work with saws having extension wings. I'm curious to know what that means and if anyone has had issues with that.

Well, it won't work for any fence larger than 26". If you want a bigger capacity fence, you need a 52" But that takes up a lot of room.

I have had a Vega 52" cut down to 37" to make it easier in my shop.
