Hey guys, I'm just getting started with this hobby. Here is my first project a toy bin storage out of partical board for the kids' playroom. Then I had the momentum to build my second project, the hope chest for my mom for xmas.

Thanks everyone for your positive comments. I feel like Super Woodworker after all your encouragement. I'm going to attempt to make a step stool for my son (1 1/2 years old) so he can get up to the bathroom sink. And then a spice rack for my wife.

Yes, I used a Jigsaw on the trim work to do a rough cut, then went back over with a router and a trimmer bit. Did you know routers are suppose to go in a single direction, and there is a think called 'chip out'? lol - live and learn, or read this forum. I re-did the front decorative piece a couple times. I also used a jointer on all the box edges.
