I've bolted them several ways I've seen on the internet. I guess I will have to do both sides to really see if it works correctly. I may have to make the 30 minute drive to look at the original.
I guess this will have to do. Guess some modifying of the new treated base and it should be ready to put into production. I have enough Sapele for 3 more chairs. I’ll need pick up more treated and let it dry and acclimate for winter. Bolts and washers and winter is covered…
I didnt plan too, but I guess I'll glue two pieces together. The boards have a bit of cup in them, so it should help. Let the planer level them out once dried. Guess I'll use the TB3.
Decided to put dados in the chair bases for long term support. Haven't used the RAS in a long time. Having to clean it up and check settings. All good.
