I just bought a piece of kiln dried s4s maple 1x4 that I plan to laminate into a turning blank. I bought it from a lumber yard and it was in a warehouse which is enclosed, but unconditioned space. It looks like it may need very minor jointing before gluing up. Should I let it acclimate before I glue it up, or glue it up first?

How long would you let it acclimate?

How long would you let it acclimate? Outdoor RH here is 85%, though it's been as high as 100% in recent weeks. The humidity in my quasi climate controlled basement shop is around 70%.

Keep in mind the MC will change while its acclimating. It's like run whatcha brung. If you don't have a moisture meter to check, you'll be using it during its changing.
