Just got back from a flea market and saw this lathe. Just thought I'd share.
Has anyone ever seen one? He wanted $75 for it

The price sounds steep, but the cool factor is pretty high. Functionally, it probably isn't too far off of turning with a hunk of wood chucked in a hand-held electric drill ( I tried this once with zero success...for lots of reasons).

If you see the lathe around that flea market in the future, maybe you get talk him down to a more reasonable number. I'm very curious how usable something that small would be.

I agree the price is too high. It's old and if the motor konks out, it may not replaceable. I also don't care for the tailstock center. It looks more like a metal turning center. The company is still in business though.
