That was a great deal. Th saw looks new. When I used my scroll saw, I set it up on a bench top with a kneehole. I found sitting close was more comfortable. As for the DT jig, good to have if you want machined DT's. There is just an esthetic beauty of handcut ones IMO.

The saw technically IS new... it's a few years old but it's never been used and neither has the DT jig.
The friend I got them from had come into a little bit of money and decided to blow it on stuff that he ended up not using.
These are not the first tools I've acquired from him... A couple of years ago I got a 14" Delta bandsaw from him.. that one had only been used once.. by me actually while I was building him a small bar in his house.
He is currently letting me borrow his DeWalt planer. I'm trying to buy that one from him, but for some reason that's one tool he doesn't want to sell, but he says keep it as long as I need it :blink:
