I found a relatively inexpensive way to make my new
3520B mobile. By using three trailer jacks (with wheels)
purchased from HF at $35 each, and some scrap iron
from our farm shop, the lathe can now be jacked up
quickly, rolled away from wall, and set back down on
its original legs, ready for bowl turning from tailstock
end. This made a very stable mobile base which rolls
quite easily and did not break the bank.
