First one and the last one are Curly Cottonwood. First is copper over glass and the second is slate over glass. Not real sure I like the sound with this wood. It is soft and stringy seems to deepen and deaden the sound. These might get cut apart. The middle one is Striped Honey Locust slate over glass. This one is a keeper it sounds just like I want them all to sound.

I love the wood in all three even if the sound is not what you want.

I have a piece of locust. The person who gave it to me said it was black locust. It may be time to cut into the piece and take a look inside.
