Solid carbide spirals are funny price wise. While a 1/4" spiral is only about $20, going to a 5/16" comes with a $40 price tag. You won't find a solid carbide bit with a shank smaller than the cutting diameter because solid carbide is extremely hard and brittle. This means that the shank will either be 3/8" or half inch for the bit you need. MLCS does carry decent bits and coupled with free shipping on every order makes them a pretty good option from a value standpoint.
Good Luck:smile:
