Hi,

I inherited a 1948 Delta Unisaw Serial # 74-5343 that needs a new motor pulley. It appears I need the model number of the saw in order to ID the part however I can't find the number on the saw. Any ideas on where I can find the model number?
Thanks.

I have a Delta Unisaw of a similar vintage that was my father’s. Serial number is 73-9460. I looked for a model number and couldn’t find one either. My guess is that in that era there was only one model. I agree that your chances of getting an answer are better on the OWWM Forum.

I have a Unisaw that was my grandfathers I was told it was a 1948 model but the Serial # is a lot lower D469 so I not sure of the year I have had it for 37 years and use it almost every day. It still has the same motor that it came with.

Yes. Check with OWWM. However, in my experience, buying pulleys (sheave) is a lot like buying bearings; you can usually find one to fit if you know the critical dimensions and other info;
Outside diameter
Shaft diameter
Width of groove
Hub type
Material (steel, cast iron, aluminum, etc)
Check McMaster-Carr: McMaster-Carr
