This is not my CL posting, but we do not often see such large old iron jointers for sale in my area.

This is Pottstown, PA, north of Philly.

Perhaps not too far for Warner Construction.

That's a little small for Warner.
It is also too spendy for me and an L power, which made some of the ugliest machines of the time.
I understand single phase 240 volt power. I understand three phase power. I do NOT understand two phase power.

How is two phase different from the standard 240 volt single phase that is common in homes today?

Other than the power issue I would show up with $750 cash in one pocket and $250 in the other pocket. "Hey man, this is all that I've got." I can take all the eyes that he can throw at me.
I offered him $750 after asking if it was still for sale.

That figures, it's too far for me. I've been looking for a jointer for years. I thought I found one last weekend. It was a 12" Cresent but the guy wanted $2800.00 for it.

I had to look it up, but it was around in the early 20th century when the tool was likely manufactured.

I can ship my 16" 316 JA Fay & Egan down to you. I can probably find it a ride in the next couple months. Asking price is less then that 12" Crescent.
Those tables can be very tricky/ frustrating to get coplanner ....

Nice jointer..

B,
I'm partial to Oliver machinery...I admit that . This is one fine jointer that's up for sale. The seller said he did a complete frame off restoration.
