Fellow woodworkers
Could anyone tell me if I'm doing something wrong.
It seems that the velcro backed 1/3 sanding sheets dont last very long before they loose there "Velcro nes" and fall off.
Once fallen off they are unable to reattached.(This is about half way through the life of the sheet).
I'm thinking that it may be better to buy full sheets and cut them.
Antone with ideas?

I don't think I have ever seen 1/3 sheet h&L.
Anyway, what is the condition of you sander pad?
You can purchase new pads, or maybe a better quality sandpaper?

I have one that does the same thing, sorta. I don't recommend the cutting of your own as the spring tensions does not seem to hold it on very well. I actually use spay adhesive that way I can remove it and put a new sheet on when needed without too much fuss. Works pretty well. But then again I try not to use that sander any more than I have to.
