First off a little bit of background: I've always wanted to work with wood but didn't have the chance until now (no space, no money). I only have basic handtools and some handheld power tools, which should be enough to start the obsession
I've received a lot of wood as a gift...
I have some very nice walnut, but some of the pieces have small (1/32 to 1/16 in) wormholes. What is the best way to fill them so they will not show in the finished project? I've tried so-called "stainable" filler on other projects but have not had much luck. Any suggestions?
