    A buddy of mine gave me his father's old Sears wood lathe, but the motor is turning the spindle away in a clockwise direction. I checked Google for proper setup thinking that I may need to turn it the other way, but I have it correct; how do I change the direction that the motor is turning?

    The is the first thing I've ever turned. It's a variation of a slimline made from Tiger Wood. I used 2 coat's of Huts crystal friction coat as the finnish. Let me know what you think... I made a ton of mistakes (i'm guessing this is pretty standard for a first timer), but all in all...

    Does anyone know if there is a way of reversing a midi lathe? I'd like to be able to sand in both directions to deal with some reversing grain. Is there a reverse polarity switch or someting that could be used? Thanks.
