My flex shaft has a 0.3-4mm chuck, but I have a 1/4" kutzall bit I want to use with it. Is there anyway I can attach the bit, such as a chuck attachments/extenders? Can I grind down the shaft on a bench grinder until it fits? Or do I just have to buy another flex shaft handle?

So I'm assuming if this can be done on terra cotta, it can be done on wood too. If it can, does anyone know which bit to use? I have a Dremel 400 xpr which I have never used. I've seen this type of thing done with a scroll saw, but I don't have one.

I am wanting to get into wood carvings for signs. I mainly work with pine and oak, rarely any other woods. I was wondering if the Dremel 3000 would work well paired with an engraving bit, or if I would need to move up to something else? Does anyone have experience carving/engraving with a Dremel...

I have bought several boxes of matchsticks (about 4" length). The end goal is to cut the matchsticks down to about 2.25" so they can fit inside glass jars with lids (about 3" high). I finally found the right hand tool to do the cutting - the Dremel Saw-Max. I am able to cut the matches down...

First time poster here. I've been carving wood for a little over a year now, making props from video games and a few small sculptures. I was using dremel for a long time, but they always die out after a month or so because the motor gets too hot and the coils melt together. New Brush caps don't...

I am looking for longer-than-standard attachments for my Dremel, like the sanding drums, cutters, etc. Stock, they are about 1" to 1 1/2" long. I'm looking for 2" to 2 1/2" long shafts on these for getting into deeper holes in my burl stock. Does anyone know of a company that makes specialty...
