I need some advice on long bandsaw blades. I just purchased an O.... Brand blade from a large online retail site This was a 1/2" resaw type blade for my Jet 14" bandsaw. Blade length should be 93-1/2 inches. When I put it on, it was too loose. There was no way to bring it up to tension. I...

I have a pretty good assortment of 1" TO 1 1/4" dull band saw blades. ( Blades are 158" long, ranging from 1 to 3 teeth / in ) Is it feasable to have them sharpened. If so, does anyone know of someone that does this sharpening? I'm located in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area.
