    I have a Jet 12" lathe. I left my shop idle for a few years, but now I'm having trouble getting my tailstock to align to the headstock. This makes boring a hole quite a challenge. It's impossible to get a precision alignment. Shimming doesn't work. Any tips on how to get this aligned again?
