Here we go again....the synchronicity thing again.
For the last few months, me and the LOML or is it the LOML and I, oh well, anyway....we have been talking about putting up the 39 Allied Ketch for sale and buying a houseboat or trawler. We are seriously thinking of doing The Great Loop in about a year or so. Congrats on the new boat. That might even be the same one I looked at on Yachtworld.com several months ago. It was somewhere on a lake near Austin. So, have you moved your table saw on board yet?
Again, congrats and best of luck. Next time we are in Austin, I will give you a shout.

This is really scarey, I was 47 once. LOL. Actually gonna be 63. The people that I bought the boat from was named Crapo. They were in their 70's and I believe originally from Canada. He died and his wife still lives in Dunedin. Maybe you knew their kids which are probably about their age and live somewhere in the area.
    Small world, ain't it?

With all of these coincidences, all I can say is that "great minds think alike". I bought the boat in Dunedin. I am presently in VanCleave, Ms. visiting inlaws. I will probably drive down to Biloxi tomorrow for the day and visit friends. I will wave to Keesler for you as I go by.

Great choice in boats. I almost bought a Cat 36. I had a Catalina 25. I had some really "exciting" experiences in the Gulf as a new sailor, some of which I really didnt think I would make it. After that, when I dicided to upgrade, I looked for nothing else but a Catalina 30. A couple in the very next pier from me in Biloxi, Ms. put theirs up for sale and I nailed it. I had it totalled out during Hurricane Katrina. I was looking at Catalina 34's and 36's and then decided I wanted a Ketch rig. I ended up buying an older Allied Ketch in Tampa Bay area of Florida and sailed it to Kemah, Tx. which is where we now live.
Anyway, when you get down here again call my shop cell number (always answered) 281-687-4661. If I am gonna be out of reach, I leave the phone with my wife Helen. She always knows where I am, s**t.
