    Hey Tyler... Thanks for all your help with the ebonizing of my bowl. When I added the powdered wine tannin solution, it did make it almost a deep blue-black, but was even worse with blotches and wipe marks than before. I ended up sanding it all off and going with the old standby of BLO and paste wax. Maybe after the holiday chaos dies down I'll try again and even try a gradient effect with different amounts of tannin and different woods. Thanks again for all your help and Merry Christmas.

    Hello TylerJones. I just found this site and was browsing through reading and saw a post you'd made to tymann09 back on 03.26.2012 concerning what he needed to charge and all he considers. I wanted to commend you for what you said.

    I am very new to the woodworking scene but I am an old craftsman in a couple other fields. You are spot on right about your reputation is the main thing a person has. Anyway just wanted to drop you that line, say hello since I saw you are located in the eastern part of Texas as well.
