Cool. Sorry for your buddy though. I plan on using the same type of reminder. Couldn't be simpler. Thanks.

Just saw your miter saw pic on the SCMS advice post. Noticed the Fender sticker on the side of your Milwaukee. Is this a safety reminder for each time you use the saw? Brilliant if so. Rock on.

Exactly, would like to get it back to factory he routed out all three spots where the pickups sit instead of three individual routed holes there is one big square. The pick guard does cover it when it is all together but there's 5 pickup slots cut in the pick guard he put in the standard three an added two humbucker. And the other thing is paint really isn't to much of a problem all the work needed to be done would be under pick guard not visible. So I guess all I had to say was yes I'd like to get it as close to factory as possible lol. If you want might be easier to talk on phone kind of hard to explain things n text so if you want talk or have any other questions my cell is 813-843-4529 my name is mike thanks for listening hope you can help. Mike. An like I said I'm in Brandon off 301 near crosstown (Leroy selmon)

Hey tm I was surfing around looking for some advise on guitar repairs if it's even possible. That strat you built was very impressive to say the least. I'm from Tampa area an problem is I traded a car for a strat few years ago didn't realize at the time nor did he that it was a 1971 with a maple neck very rare an it's the antique white also couldn't figure out what year until recent because I didn't want to take the neck off to check. I finally did an saw it was a 71. Here's The problem when I took off pick guard someone prior to me didn't know what they had an routered out the pickup area to soup it up an add more pickups i guess,I was sick when I saw this. . So bottom line is wondering IF it can be repaired I would really like to have it done I want to hang on to it not selling it. The neck alone is worth twice what the car was. So if you have any ideas or if you could point me in right direction that would be awesome. Thanks mojo

Thats another thing too. I'm an avid golf nut in the summer. We don't get to play year round up here in the North (probably a good thing). We'll be out there in three of four more weeks though! Thanks for your comment about the boxes, I appreciate it. Just sold one of my favorites today on the Etsy site. In fact its the one I showed you earlier after you had me change the hinge locations .....it's one of my favorites and I hate to let it go (almost, he, he)

This is the one in case you don't remember: http://www.etsy.com/transaction/74570699

I took your advice on the newest posting of one of my boxes at: http://www.etsy.com/listing/91732484...k-keepsake-box - How does this look to you? I think I got it right this time.

Actually the hinges that I DID use were purchased at Menard's and were roughly the price you indicated. Are you saying that I could have used those same hinges but mortised them to the inside edges of the box and that is all I needed to do to make them more attractive and more highly desireable?

You're right about the hinges. I thought about that right after installing the el-chepos that I put on them. Additional boxes down the road will probably get 90 stop hinges installed. Thanks for the comment.
