Thanks for your response on my toybox post the other day. I was hoping I can bug you for one more question.

I am incorporating the windowsills (2 window sills with maybe 4" of drywall in between) into the piece of wood on the top where the hinges go (not the lid but the other piece).

So I have about 3" of windowsill, about 3/4" piece of wood and then (my potential problem) about 2-3" of wood that overlaps the back frame of the toybox. THEN the hinges and then the lids.

I have to do it this way because of the piece of pre cut wood we are using for the lid.

My concern is that the lid won't support weight since it's not on the back frame. However, I know they usually don't anyway because of the back part of the hinges.

I hope all of this is making sense.

I AM putting a front to back support in the middle that I'll dadoo in to support the lids in the morning and I'm likely going to do a couple vertical supports in the middle as well.
