When I was in High School I made a lamp out of an old red cedar fence post. This is an awesome piece of tree! What part of the country do you find trees like this. Was this made from a live tree or a deadfall? Great Job. Steve

Hi Steve, (sawduststeve) Trying to respond to your question, don't know if I'm even typing in the right place.

Western Junipers are concentratad mainly in central and eastern Oregon. Also grow in northeast Ca. and eastern Washington. This was made from a dead limb of a down Juniper tree.

    Thanks for your input,

    Ron
