I read about your Delta table saw. I am trying to figure out what motor my 8" saw should have. You said yours is 3/4 horse. Is it a Delta? Could you tell me what Rpm it is and what outside diameter the pulleys are? Thanks.

    No problem.
That figures with the town name. I just saw the one closest to us here in Cleveland. (TX) when I googled it.
My Brother used to live in The Colony.
I have some inlaws that live in Hawkins. North of Tyler.

    Hey how are ya?
I was on your blog this evening. Like the looks of things going on with your new wood working page as well.
I noticed that you are from Crossroads.
My mother's family is from Elliot. That's just west of Franklin on 79.
Keep up the great work. Love what you are doing with the property. I would flatten the area you are considering and maybe use that tractor to dig up some good gravel if you have any on your property. Use it as a top after you flatten out that V.

About cedar elm. Any suggestions about how to cure green 3" planks for eventual use as a bar or mantle?

Hello there, I just joined this forum and was looking at pictures & saw the bass. Nice one! I live in Shreveport so we're kind of neighbors. Thought I would introduce myself. My first post is going to be a call to woodworkers located near North West LA.
