¿Recuperar?

    Hey George,
I was reading the forums and saw that you said they shut down the hobby shop on base and that you were located on the Florida panhandle and figured you had to be talking about Hurby. I live in the old commando village and would love to talk about some woodworking with you if you wouldn't mind. I work sheet metal on base and just got into woodworking and have been making alot of projects lately but would love to find someone who shares my passion for the hobby and I love learning new things. If your up for some conversions please email me at [email protected] I would love to hear from you!

Hello, George, I see that you live in the Florida panhandle. I live in Pensacola and was wondering how close by are you? Also, wondering about your wood sources. I have the big box stores and Ozark near the Alabama line on Hwy. 90. There's also a fellow in Cantonment that has unique woods, but I think he is part time. Looking forward to getting acquainted with you and maybe meeting up sometime. Have a great weekend.

    George,
I used to be a Gemologist. Perhaps my terminology reflected that. I suppose I shall call them black streaks imbedded deep down in the wood. They do appear to be part of the cut, but I'm not certain. Thank you George for you reply and any adviceB-)

I live in Gulf Breeze, Florida and I’m new to woodworking. I haven’t had any luck finding any local woodworking clubs or adult education programs at the local colleges. What resources are there in the area to help me get started?

How to apply would be good info for me, too. I saw a pro pour it on a youtube video, but spent little time explaining and didn't show much...also saw an idiot do it, it didn't turn out well...I don't want to be an idiot! I might just ask Dave, Daren or TexasTimbers if they can hook me up. Thank You George. Heather

GeorgeC, I'm officially bugging you now. Did ya forget? I'm just funnin' ya. Ordered resin from US Composites, just came today. I plan on playing with it in a week or 2 (probably 2) I feel pretty comfy after talking with their rep. I also saw a little video of a pour on youtube, but it'd be nice to get all the facts. Thank you kindly Sir! Heather
