Hello EHCRain. Perhaps you can answer a question I have about your Craftsman band saw. I'm interested in getting the Grizzly H7587 fence for this band saw. I asked Grizzly if it would fit. Grizzly Tech Support said "Unfortunately, we do not have specifications on other manufacturer’s machines. However, if the table depth is 14” front to back, this fence should be able to be mounted to it. You would need to drill and tap mounting holes that are 1” down from the surface of the table. You may only be able to install two of the three bolts to secure the front rail of the fence on the Craftsman BAS350 due to the slot in the table for changing blades. The fence would also need to be removed to change your blades. The end bolts (of the fence) are approximately 12 1⁄4” apart."

Is the table depth 14” front to back? I can't find any specs on that and there is none at my Sears store here in Juneau Alaska. The band saw is on the way and I'd like to get the fence before it arrives. Thanks

I live just on the VA side of the border and travel to JC at least once a month. I auctally work for Home Depot in Bristol and we stock two qualities of 2x4s, the cheaper ones are pretty bad most of the time but the more expensive ones are usually knot free. There are a few local saw mills that might be able to provide hardwood for cheaper than regular 2x4s but I have not dealt with any locals at this point.

Hey, thanks for your offer to help on my project. Are you close to the Johnson City area? I'm actually a mile away from the woodcraft off exit 17 that you mentioned. Been there a couple times, a little pricey for me for now. I'm trying to find some nice wood to use but not sure where to go. You got any ideas? Looking for SPF 2x4s and I check out HD and all there boards have knots all over them. Not sure if there are any local places to get good wood. Thanks again
