hey Dave - can you changes or modify peoples posts ??

I didn't mean to come off so harsh in my post (#4) to Luke
about his choice of online identification. I have sent him
    a PM clarifying my suggestions.

if you can modify my post, please delete all of the content
    and insert the new words:
"Nice work - you will go far in the Craftsman's World."

thank you for your time !!
    John Smith

    Hi Rick,

I get it from a small sawmill in south Shreveport but he rarely has more than 70 to 80 bd. ft. I took a friend with me to get this Tuesday because he needed some for a dining table. Together we bought about 50 bd. ft. and we got over half of what was available. It's $5 in the rough and kiln dried to about 8% to 10% and I have to work around sapwood, knots, checks, etc. But since I do small projects it isn't usually a problem.

If you want steamed Walnut I think there's a Deano Hardwood location in East Texas, Tyler maybe, could be Longview. They usually have several pallet loads and get about $8.50 for S2S (I think that's how they have it, I know if's surfaced but it could be straight line ripped). They have a location in Shreveport, too, but I don't buy their Walnut because I like unsteamed.

My email is [email protected] if you want to email - much easier than this system.

    Hello David,

I was wondering where you get your walnut from, and appox cost per bd ft. It isn't that far to BC from us, I have been buying form Phillip's Forest products in DeKalb Tx, but sometimes they run out of walnut and other hardwoods, I usually buy in about 500 bd ft lots, so if the price is right the wife and I can go there and spend the night on the town
