More carved, working pliers joints.
Here's some more of my carved pliers joints. Most of these will be given away as Christmas gifts this year.

The joints do open and close. They are all carved out of solid pieces of wood. No glue or trickery was used, only 10 cuts with a knife. And no wood is removed in the process. It's all a matter of slicing and dicing.
The 2x4 with the green lines was one of my visual aide pieces I used while making a demonstration video.
They all start off as square rods.
The largest one is mahogany. The lightest colored wood is basswood. Then there's a pine one, cedar one and that that might be poplar.
