wall wine rack question

I'm thinking about building this simple wine rack.http://camillestyles.com/uncategoriz...ank-wine-rack/

What should I mount it to the wall with? Should I just use L brackets? I would prefer hidden brackets but I'm worried about the weight of wine bottles.

Thanks

Hidden brackets should be fine. I would use a couple of long bolts into the wall and use them as 'dowels' to hold it up with a grub screw to stop it sliding out.

If you want hidden brackets, consider something like this.

Your the man Dave, that is the sorta thing I meant only I would have screwed a bolt right into the wall. My way you have to be spot on square and level. Those brackets would be more precise as they fix straight to the wall.

Thanks, but I can only take credit for remembering that Lee Valley sells these. They may be the ticket for this purpose.

Fully loaded, what's the weight likely to be?
Then you can get fully loaded, too.
