Vega fence pro 50

I've recently had a problem trying to find somewhere to get parts for my fence. The front rail of this fence system got bent while being moved. I need a new front rail. I've looked on the net for a parts supplier but so far unable to find one. I tried contacting Vega but no word from them either. I tried to find pipe with a 2" OD. yet there doesn't seem to be any plumbing pipe with a 2" OD. anyone have any ideas?

Look for a steel supplier instead of plumbing. 2" OD pipe is available. http://www.onlinemetals.com/merchant...Np3xoCgtnw_wcB

I went to a couple of places like metal suppliers It wasn't cost effective to machine one. Would cost more than a new fence. But I did find a place that I wouldn't have thought of had I not gone to a auto parts store. While I was there another customer purchased a 90" length of exhaust pipe 2' od.. I thought I'd try it the store owner told me he give me my money back if it didn't work he didn't know I was going to drill a couple of holes in it. I was a little concerned that it wouldn't hold up but the dog gone pipe is really strong. Been using it now for a week and no problems. I drilled some 3/4 " holes in one side of the pipe and used butter fly toggles to bolt it down to the mounts that came with my fence. Thanks Steve for your suggestion. It has given me ideas for other things.

I would try contacting Vega Woodworking again. My understanding is that they're a fairly small, family run business who is typically very responsive.

This gives me pause..if I ever bend the rail of my align-a-rip I'm pretty much screwed..
Whaddaya think my odds of finding a matching piece for this rail would be?

I figured it's time to change my signature so hold your breath. This is it.
Impressive, huh?

You could go to E bay and in the search box type in Used table saw. You would find that they sell used parts for all kinds of Saws. I replaced the arbor on one saw I used to have. Sears simply didn't have the parts. If you buy there and you end up with a bad deal they will refund your money through your Pay pal Account. Then there is ereplacement parts.com They carry parts for a lot of things

I did email them twice from there own internet site. I still haven't got a response and it's been two weeks since I sent the first email. I tried calling them and got no answer.

Whats really weird is that I just received a returned email notice from the delivery system telling me Vega's e mail address is no longer valid.
