Need some plans for small project

Hello,

I need some plans for a medium sized decorative box. If you have any other ideas of a small project feel free to reply. I have been looking at some sites and the plans didnt look that good. Most charge money.

Peace,

RAK

WoocraftPlans.com has a nice little jewelry box plan. there are books on line and in book stores devoted entirely to making boxes of all sorts. Some very very nice. Just look and find something you like. Start small and have fun.

Google search "small wood box designs" and click on images and/or videos. Don't spend your money on plans. Let us know what size box you want to make, type of wood you want to use and what type of tools you have access to. Knowing a little more will help everyone provide some ideas for you.

Thanks for the replies. This is a project for school. I have to make something and I want it to be small and creative. I found A few plans but I am not sure if they are good enough. I dont want the box to come out expenisve so I want it to be small.

I am thinking about using maple but I could use oak, ash, Pine and alder.

I have access to almost every tools made for wood. I could even use CNC router and laser if I need to.

Thanks

Box seems fine for a school project. You could change any portion of the project to suit you taste.
