Need help with workbench addition for table saw.

So I recently finished my workbench a few days ago. I just purchased a Dewalt compact 10 inch table saw after the fact. I got a great deal so I couldn't pass it up. I now need to incorporate a longer work platform for the compact saw and thought it would be great to add a shelf onto my workbench to do so. I found an idea of how to do it online, but would love to see if anyone else has done this and how. I want the top of the table saw to be flush with my workbench. Below is an idea.

found "online" ...

Here's the You Tube of the Paulk workbench:

It is a common idea these days because of the popularity of the portable concept for construction tradesmen. It is very functional and stiff for it's light weight. You can't really go wrong with this idea. This new video incorporates hanging the table saw off the end.

This is a "improved version" by a different builder which has some unique ideas. There are sliding pipes/tubes to support the tablesaw which you may find interesting:

The answer to your question will only be as detailed and specific as the question is detailed and specific. Good questions also include a sketch or a photo that illustrates your issue. (:< D)
