Future Pole Barn Build

I have a sawmill and have been sawing for 2yrs now. I have a lot of wood for walls floors cabinets and counters but only half the 6x6s I need. I want it to look somewhat like a timber frame cabin with open beams and 2nd floor. I cant decide on to use the metal Ts for my joinery or do it the old fashion mortis and tennen build. I have the property bought But havnt poured a pad yet. Was wanting to pour a 40x40 and put on 2 side sheds later with a second floor on those as well. Need to hear some dos and donts and how to get this done quick cheap and strong. Was also planning on sitting my post on top of the concrete on a stem wall or pillars which could be formed up square for the floor to be poured later
