Hey Guys and Gals,

I'm currently in the design process of a really neat computer workstation for my entertainment room and need an idea of how to put a desktop together. I am planning on finishing the top with paint and am trying to get a ebony black grand piano finish.

I've completed the basic design, but am having problems putting together a top.(materials...??..cost effective!) I plan for it to be abot 2-3" 's thick and somewhat heavy.

Thanks,
Kevin

maybe use 2 sheets of plywood glued together and either some edging or take a solid 2x2 and make a dramatic round over on one corner from one corner to the one across from it and attach it to the front
