Custom Grain - Aspen Ideas

I have quite a bit of aspen to build with, yet I have no idea what to do with it. I was going to do a few segmented bowls with it since most are 1" thick, and some 2 inch thick boards I was going to do salt and pepper shakers but I really don't have any other ideas than that... Help??? Turned ideas, or normal build ideas would be amazing to hear

Mail me all of it! Haha. I dabble in turning quite a bit but have never really turned Aspen. Make some turkey pot calls, ghost made a tutorial on how to turn one. I'm sure you could get some pretty cool looks on aspen if you mixed some stains.

Figured it out!

I also do pallet wood creations, so I decided to combine aspen with pallet wood. These are the legs to a coffee table, yes their aspen. The table itself will be 3" of aspen wrapped around a core of pallet wood. This way I save aspen, and use up my pallet wood I have accumulated. Problem solved!!!

Been a little busy

Yeah been awhile, but I have figured out what to do with the aspen. Pic explain it. Talk about gluing as much stuff as I can possibly do at once...
