Where to find black lacquer?

Any recommendations? We have a Woodcraft store here, but I didn't see anything there.

I tried the search function also, but couldn't find anything in the first few pages.

Any help is appreciated!

Eastern South Dakota is very pretty with hills, rivers, and trees.

Places like Sherwin-Williams that sell lacquer usually have white and black. You might also find colored lacquer in cans at hobby or art supply stores.

I think you can still get "Nitro" based through archery world. Its Fletch-Lac,used for dipping and cresting arrows.....theres sometimes Haz-mat shipping costs on onesy/twosy's,so you might visit a proshop that can roll that into other shipments.Comes in Qts,Pints, and small jars.BW

Sherwin Williams

They usually have it. As a matter of fact, White and Black are the only colors they have in lacquer other than the clear.
Universal colorants usually work with lacquer.
WoodFinishersDepot.com sells black lacquer or just get a small bottle of colorant and add it to your clear lacquer. Usually the small bottle of colorant is good for 1/2 gal of lac. Give them a call and they will set you straight. Their tel no. is on their website.
