Walnut Veneer

Hey Everyone,

I'll preface this post by saying that I am a complete novice, so this may seem like an obvious question but.......
I have a dresser that has walnut veneer on the drawers. Originally, the dresser had a really ugly opaque finish over top of the veneer, but I have removed it. It looks better, but the veneer looks a bit faded. I am looking to restore its natural walnut colour. My question is .....what should I use to do this? My guess would be something like Danish Oil or Tung Oil, but I'm not sure. Would Pure Oils be better than something like Minwax Tung Oil Finish?

Thanks in advance!
