Oil vs Water based poly's

What is your experience with oil vs water based spraying polyeuethanes? Im interested in the trade off in using the water based.Mainly because it seems so much safer since I dont have a great place to spray except in the garage or in the driveway.Garage is pretty much out because of the waterheater.Itchy
