Looking for a new spray gun
Have been suing a Harbor Freight "purple" HVLP gun but am looking to get something better. It has done "okay" but not great in my opinion. I know many woodworkers go with a turbine, but since I have a good air compressor setup (7 HP/60 gal tank) with filters and such, why spend the extra $$$ on a turbine when I can just get a good conversion HVLP gun. I also don't see the need for portability that a turbine offers. I am leaning towards the DeVilbiss FLG4 gun (the FLG671 kit more specifically). I know this is mainly used for automotive, but it also seems to have high marks for woodworking. I am not opposed to a turbine I suppose, but for most of what I spray (which isn't latex, but mostly WB acrylic and lacquer) I just don't see the need. Anyway, thanks for any input.
Live a life worth celebrating!
