Cabinet finishing

I am building a maple hutch with drawers and doors. There are three sections separated by solid plywood. My question is, should the inside of the carcuss be finished or left bare. I am more concerned about the center section where there are only drawers. These will never be seen. I do plan on brushing lacquer on the shelves on the 2 outer sections. Should the inside of this section be finished or left bare?
