Wood from Sawdust

Here is a little box I turned today, not sure what the wood is but I really enjoyed turning it. Thanks again Steve!

Wood from sawdust? Is it a piece you turned from a chunk of sawdust you glued up? Or are you just using it as a title. Just curious how it's done.

Very nicely done! That is claro walnut. Dominick, look back a couple of weeks, I offered up free boxes of cut offs for folks with the condition of posting pics of what you do with them.

That bowl was perfect right up until that last cut...

Very nice. That claro walnut is pretty.

I got a maple burl in my box that I put aside for turning a small lidded box!!!
