Wood gloat

A few days ago I posted some pics of some bottle stoppers that were turned from spalted maple burl that I had given to me. Well here is about 3/4 of those 3 burl slabs processed into somewhat useable chunks. There is a lot of punky and bug eaten spots in some of this, but a lot of it is nice and solid, including the 14" diameter bowl blank in the second pic.

That bowl was perfect right up until that last cut...

Very nice! looking to barter?

I just made a few bottle stoppers with the some burl cap that I had. I love that look! I'm doing a show this week and hope they sell good
