Wood Gloat

Hope this is the right spot to post this,but this is a load of Apple wood that I picked up sat.It was takin down last yr an when we got hold of the owner who is in FL, he said to take what we want,as he is gonna burn the rest when he gets back up to NC.I hope that if all go's well I will be back over there to get another load.

Drive that just a little further north in to VA and I will help you unload it!!

I keep my eyes open for wood all the time..... Haven't had much luck lately though.

There is still another load over there.There is part of a trunk bout 4ft high still waitin for me. I'm hopein to get some nice little burls out of it.

Boy, I guess I've seen too much wood in my time. But Maybe I used to get like that! Some of you would die if you knew what I have given or thrown away. I was just looking for a slice of walnut burl about 3' by18" wide that I have held onto for over 10 years and remembered that I gave it away last year. the rest of the burl was sold green for $250.00.
