Question What chuck ?

Just got a grizz in trade it is a g 1495 I have read lots and watched lots of video on turning I am hooked already I want to purchase a chuck but not sure which one.I have turned a few bowls . Is the grizz chuck a good one or should I invest in something diff.Thanks in advance

buy the Grizzly chuck that is a copy of the vicmarc 100. it isn't as good a chuck as the vicmarc but is a pretty decent chuck for a good price. I have one as well as 2 vicmarc's

I like faceplate turning myself. They seem to hold better with less vibration. Had a 3" and 6", and rarely ever used a chuck. FWIW

I got it

Got my grizz chuck today works well. I tried it on a piece of camphor wood turned a very good size bowl.
