walnut bowl

i used more scraps and made this bowl
i guess everyone can see the mistake i made huh
but its still pretty i think

Nice fix though. I like the way the grain is oriented on the bottom. Good job!

That bowl was perfect right up until that last cut...

I too like the symmetry of the grain in both the bottom and the sides. Nice bowl.

P.S. I'm still in the learning phase; what grit did you end up with for sanding, and whats the finish?

i sanded forever and i to am still learning
320 grit is the highest i have here right now
and i put 1 coat of dutch oil so far
thinking of trying spray on high gloss poly on the next coat

A bowl with a drain plug. How ingenious. Looks nice. Good way to use up some small pieces of wood. Keep it up,
