vase for a friend!

Here is a vase I made for a friend with the wood that he gave me cut from logs! Maple and Black Walnut, walnut was mine.

Very Nice. I like the sharp corner effects on the end joints between the Maple and the Walnut. Super finish.

Man, I wish you guys would start posting your turning projects in the project showcase. This is yet, another awesome project that I almost missed because it was in the turning section and I don't get into the turning section very often. But I digress..............very nice project and a great job in turning it. It looks absolutely fantastic and I'm glad that I caught up with this one. Great work.

Kenbo, you're just gonna have to come over to the round side more often

That bowl was perfect right up until that last cut...

Ken,
I usually visit this forum daily. When I go on, I hit the quick links button at the top and click on 'today's posts'. That way everything new or commented on comes up.

Thanks for all the kind words! I'd like to sell some of my vases and bowls at our local fairs but don't know what to charge. How do you charge for your work?

Thx Chuck
