Two more peppermills in the laminated series

Here's the last two in the laminated blanks I got from Woodcraft. There is one more color combination that I didn't get. May have to stop back up there and take another look. Two tone blue and maroon and white.

Those areway cool. I love the shape too, especially the ones with the flat top.

These are awesome, Mike -- I wasn't wild about them the first time I looked, but they've grown on me. Now I keep coming back to take another peek ... and another ... and another ...

I really will get around to trying to make a peppermill one of these days ;D

Rus,
I use clear lacquer for the finish. 3 or 4 coats then I buff it using the Beale three wheel buffing system. The lacquer doesn't yellow the finish.

DB, here's a link to the Woodcraft page, they are about half way down. :

Craft supplies also has a line of similar blanks, slightly different color combonations, $5 bucks cheaper.
